The last two State Budgets have seen a record investment in infrastructure in South Australia, part of a commitment to stimulating the economy and improving our way of life.

In 2016, the State Budget announced the Government’s highest spend on infrastructure in four years - $12.1 billion on large scale infrastructure projects.

Further commitments since then include funding for the grade separation of the Seaford Railway line at Oaklands Park, electrification of the Gawler Railway line, Port Adelaide Rail Spur, major road safety improvements including duplication of Main South Road between Seaford and Sellicks Beach and realignment of the intersection of Goodwood, Springbank and Daws Roads.

The State Government is committed to creating opportunities for all South Australians. From investing in transport, health and education infrastructure to creating jobs - we are providing opportunities and improving the lives of South Australian people, communities and businesses.
